Well after digging for a while I eventually found the storm water and was able to follow it to the fence line. This means we don’t need the rubble pit that is currently in the plans and will be a much better result all round.

Lessons learnt from this are:

• Speak to the people on the ground (neighbour behind knew it was there)
• If looking for stormwater and there is a pool then follow it will have a backwash into the storm water – follow that – I didn’t think of that until I had finished
• If you want something done right you have to do it yourself!

So with the storm water found I can get that updated with the builders.
