Today saw the surveyor put in the pegs that marked all the extremities of the house.

This was very exciting because we could see how the house will sit on the block and how much yard would be left over.

We were a little surprised by how much the house is taking up but we are starting to get some sense of what yard we will have left to landscape (not quite as much as we thought)!

Unfortunately the pegs are hard to see from a wider shot so not really anything we can photograph easily.

The pegs are also essential for the pool builders to be able to start so that they can make sure it is in the right place.
